In brief
A group of personal assistants and carers are needed to help a 31-year-old man with cerebral palsy who uses a wheelchair and a communication assistance to get around the house and beyond.

The customer, who attends university and works, has a very active social life and resides in Runcorn with his family.
The client needs assistance with every facet of his care, such as:
• Personal hygiene and showering
• Eating and drinking
• Getting ready for bed, including dressing and getting up
• Assistance while out and about in the community, at work, or at university
• A chaperone throughout the holidays
• Capable of offering vacation and illness coverage as needed
The shifts will be divided into the following 8- and 6-hour blocks:
8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Sunday (8-hour shifts)
Monday through Sunday 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. (6-hour shifts)
Four times a day, Monday through Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, plus an extra one-hour double-up (2:1) call
plus two extra one-hour double-up (2:1) calls every day on Wednesday and Thursday.

While not required, experience is preferred.
Additionally preferred is a Level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care.
Although one will be supplied, a transferable enhanced DBS check is preferred to enable work to start as soon as feasible.
Only candidates who are already based in the North West of the United Kingdom and have the ability to travel to and from work are eligible for this position; remote work, relocation costs, agency work, and visa sponsorship are not included.
