UK has increased immigration fees for in-country expedited sponsorship and visa services. The UK government has raised immigration fees for in-country expedited services, effective October 21, 2025, continuing a trend of significant increases over the past two years.Expedited processing of sponsorship management requests made by worker, temporary worker, or student sponsors now costs £350, up 75 per cent from the previous £200. Meanwhile, priority service for sponsor licence applications has increased to £750, a 50 per cent rise from £500.
The fee adjustments coincide with larger hikes that impact applications for skilled worker and visit visas, Certificates of Sponsorship, and the upfront immigration health premium.
Standard processing fees remain unaltered; the revised prices are only applicable to in-country accelerated processing and priority applications.
The rules impact both corporate sponsors and educational institutions that handle visa requests, and no immediate exclusions have been provided.
The price hike is a component of the UK’s broader strategy to balance administrative costs and remain competitive in luring highly qualified foreign workers. Companies and educational institutions may need to review their immigration and employment strategy in light of ongoing changes in visa laws in order to handle increased expenses and processing times.
This modification follows a larger pattern of notable increases in immigration fees in the UK over the past 12 to 24 months, including hikes for applications for skilled worker and visit visas, Certificates of Sponsorship, and the upfront immigration health surcharge, among other things.
