Young Professionals Scheme: On July 22, the UK will reopen its special visa application process for Indian nationals. It’s free to apply. The second and final ballot for the 2025 India Young Professionals Scheme visa will be opened by the UK government on July 22, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. IST, and it will end on July 24, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. IST. Under the India-UK youth mobility collaboration, Indian citizens have one more chance to apply for the remaining slots in this round.
Selected Indian nationals between the ages of 18 and 30 are permitted to reside and work in the UK for a maximum of two years under the scheme. Participants must complete the online voting and, if chosen, submit a formal visa application.
Eligibility
In order to appear on the ballot, candidates need to:
- Be between the ages of 18 and 30 and a citizen of India.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree or above (equivalent to UK RQF Levels 6, 7, or 8).
- Possess savings of at least £2,530 that have been retained for 28 days in a row prior to application
- Not have children under the age of eighteen living with them or relying on them for financial support
- Have never held a visa under the India Young Professionals Scheme or the Youth Mobility Scheme
Procedure for applications
To be considered for the ballot, candidates need to provide:
- Only those who fulfil every requirement ought to cast ballots.
- Date of birth and full name
- Passport information along with a scan or picture
- Phone number and email address
Voting is free of charge. If chosen, candidates need to:
- Submit a visa application within ninety days.
- Pay the immigration health surcharge and the £319 visa cost.
- Send in your biometric data, including your fingerprints and photo.
Results will be emailed out within two weeks of the ballot closure, and ballot entries are chosen at random. Appeals for unsuccessful entries are not permitted.
Accessibility
The majority of the 3,000 spots available for 2025 were distributed in February. This July ballot will fill the remaining spots. Each person is only permitted one admission. Several entries will be rejected.
